Private Islands Inc.
David and Kathy met Chris Krowlow in Belize shooting an episode of the HGTV Island Hunters series for which Chris was the host. David and Chris became friends and have since partnered together on several successful private island developments and did another special episode of Island Hunters documenting the purchase and development of Gladden Caye. Chris’s primary company is Private Islands Inc., which is the #1 listing site and source of information on private island sales and marketing in the world. Chris and Private Islands have been instrumental in the marketing and rental of several of our projects and a great partner.
VRBO Premier Partner
The Premier Partner program is an invite-only initiative for property managers and owners on Vrbo who meet specific performance requirements. By being a Premier Partner, we receive exclusive benefits and services on Vrbo for being a consistently high achieving host.
AIRBNB SUper host
Many of our properties have achieved Superhost status on airbnb for going above and beyond for our guests. Airbnb will reward the top rated and most experienced hosts with this status and includes bonuses such as more visibility, higher earning potential and exclusive rewards.
thirdhome Luxury Property Exchange
THIRDHOME is the luxury travel club that lets members trade time in their second homes for stays in 90+ countries. Owners of luxury second homes apply online, and, if they meet requirements for location, characteristics of the house, and home value, become eligible as members. There are over 10k second homeowners, include Vision Properties Belize property owners.
WIn the island sweepstakes
HomeAway partnered with Vision Properties Belize to offer the ultimate prize package for their Win the Island Sweepstakes. Along with a weeklong stay on Kanu Island, a private island complete with an ultra-luxe, ultra-large retreat off the coast of Placencia, Belize, the prize also included a $5,000 travel stipend; a private chef, personal concierge and massage therapist; and acres of blissfully quiet beachfront all to enjoy with nary a stranger in sight. The contest ended on February 28th, 2019.
Captain Jak’s Tours
One of the things that make Placencia so special and such a great place to go on vacation is the vast selection of tours and adventures it offers. Providing guests with a consistent, high quality and safe tour sometimes is more difficult than one might expect. Brian, the owner of Captain Jak’s, has made a significant investment in people, equipment and technology to provide the best tour experience to Vision’s guests. We feel fortunate to have Brian and Captain Jak’s as our exclusive tour provider in Placencia.
astrum helicopters
Astrum Helicopters has operated helicopter services in Belize since 2006. The company operates three turbine powered rotary wing Bell Helicopters 206/407. Their highly experienced pilots, with several thousand hours of flight time, along with a management team have more than 70 combined years of experience in the aviation industry. Astrum offers helicopter adventures and transfers that are tailored to meet the specific needs of Vision’s clients and vacation rental guests.
BTB GOld standard recognition
The Belize Tourism Board launched the “Tourism Gold Standard” Recognition Program for hotels in the country to meet safety guidelines during the Covid-19 pandemic. This 9-point program enhances the tourism industry’s health and safety standards by adapting new behaviors and procedures to ensure both employees and travelers are confident in the cleanliness and safety of Belize’s tourism product. All of our vacation rental properties have been Gold Standard recognized.
